This is just a really quick thing made to parody Hotel Mario for the CD-i, just like this deviation parodies the Legend of Zelda games for the CD-i. Maybe I should have put this one into my scraps though. This one isn't as good as the Zelda parody. If you don't get the joke (which I know most people won't) there was a Mario game for a console called the Phillips CD-i that came out in 1994. Nintendo didn't have anything to do with the game (and I'm not sure how the company that made the game got the copyrights for it) and the game turned out really bad (especially the cutscenes and the voice acting). So bad that people have started to put up mocking videos of it on Youtube. Here is a Wikipedia article. And you can search at Youtube for the original opening cutscene to see what it was like.
